In Friday's league outing, the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) basketball squad felled the host Troy Trojans (Troy, TX), by a margin of 49-38.
The Leopards (23-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lexington (Lexington, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region III District 19 outing with a 13-14 record. In their last outing, Lexington was beaten by Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX), 54-19, in a league outing.
The Trojans now own a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Rogers for a 3A Region III District 19 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Troy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 54-32 league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-10.
