The Lynnfield Pioneers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Triton Regional Vikings to 41 in the Pioneers league victory on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amesbury for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Lynnfield will battle a Indians team coming off a 36-35 non-league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Indians record now stands at 0-10.

The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
