Maryland High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy nudges McDonogh

January 13, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117

In Friday's league outing, the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) basketball squad edged the host McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), by a count of 56-49.

The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Central Dauphin held off Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA), 52-23, in a league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Shore for a non-league outing on Sunday, January 15. McDonogh will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 59-54 non-league win over St. Mary's (Manhasset, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 9-4.
