Texas High School Basketball - Prosper can't hold off McKinney

The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Prosper Eagles to 38 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Elm for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 17. McKinney will battle a Lobos team coming off a 81-65 league win over Allen (Allen, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 20-5.
The Eagles (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Guyer nudged Boyd (McKinney, TX), 54-28, in a league contest.
