Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) and the visiting Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), saw Meridian's basketball squad wallop Warren County by a count of 48-11.

With the victory, Meridian upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA) to play the Cougars in a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Manassas Park lost 52-14 in their recent league challenge against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Warren County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 53-31 league win over Skyline (Front Royal, VA).
