Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Meyersdale tops Shade

January 13, 2023: Cairnbrook, PA 15924

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) and the host Shade Panthers (Cairnbrook, PA), saw Meyersdale's basketball squad knock off Shade by a tally of 66-51.

With the victory, Meyersdale improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to play the Blue Jays in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Blue Jays go into the test with a record of 0-13. Conemaugh Valley lost 64-37 in their recent league test against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)

The Panthers now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Conemaugh Township for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Shade will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 45-40 league win over North Star (Boswell, PA). The Indians record now stands at 6-6.
