Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Therrell Panthers (Atlanta, GA), 63-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Mount Paran Christian upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Carrollton lost 44-37 in their recent league bout against Campbell (Smyrna, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a AA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Therrell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA).
