Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pasadena Bulldogs (Pasadena, CA), 46-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Muir upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Mayfield (Pasadena, CA) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Mayfield lost 50-36 in their recent league bout against Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA) in a Pacific bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Pasadena will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 70-55 league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).
