Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA), 76-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 15-0 on the season. The Spartans host Davenport North (Davenport, IA) to play the Wildcats in a Mississippi bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Davenport North won 61-47 in their recent league bout against North Scott (Eldridge, IA)

Next up, the Muskies play the Central Clinton Sabers (DeWitt, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Friday, February 3. Muscatine will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
