The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers to 46 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dover-Eyota for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will meet a Eagles team coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
