The Penn Yan Academy Mustangs basketball team (Penn Yan, NY), was overwhelmed 65-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Newark Reds (Newark, NY)
The Reds now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmyra-Macedon for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East battle on Friday, January 20.
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Mynderse Academy was crushed by Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY), 42-38, in a league outing.
