Wishkah Valley Loggers (Aberdeen, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North River Mustangs (Cosmopolis, WA), 35-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wishkah Valley upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Loggers host Oakville (Oakville, WA) to clash with the Acorns in a 1B Coastal bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Acorns go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Oakville lost 38-36 in their recent non-league bout against Ocosta (Westport, WA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. North River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
