California High School Basketball - North can't hold off West

The West Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host North Saxons to 53 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Downey for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. West will battle a Vikings team coming off a 44-40 league loss to Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 15-6.
The Saxons (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, King/Drew edged Garfield (Los Angeles, CA), 37-25, in a non-league contest.
