Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH), 47-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Archbold (Archbold, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Archbold lost 43-40 in their recent league bout against Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Northview will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 48-37 league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH).
