California High School Basketball - Oakmont ripped by Ponderosa

The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Oakmont Vikings to 36 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Park for a Foothill Valley contest on Wednesday, January 18. Ponderosa will battle a Panthers team coming off a 44-40 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.

The Vikings (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras enter the Foothill Valley contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Lincoln triumphed over Placer (Auburn, CA), 66-34, in a league contest.
