Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) and the visiting Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA), saw Shadow Hills's basketball squad wallop Palm Desert by a count of 49-20.

With the victory, Shadow Hills upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Poly (Riverside, CA) to play the Bears in a Ivy challenge on Monday, January 16. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Poly lost 75-71 in their recent league challenge against Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA)

Next up, the Aztecs play the Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA) in a Desert Empire challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Palm Desert will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 50-8 league loss to Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA).
