Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 62-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Redondo Union upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Sea Hawks travel to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Bay bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Mira Costa lost 43-29 in their recent league bout against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a Bay bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Sea Kings go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 59-36 league loss to Culver City (Culver City, CA).
