California High School Basketball - Rio Hondo Prep winner over Polytechnic

January 13, 2023: Pasadena, CA 91106

In Friday's league outing, the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) basketball squad felled the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), by a margin of 56-45.

The Kares (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA). The Dolphins go into the Prep outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Chadwick thwarted Westridge (Pasadena, CA), 53-38, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Providence for a Prep outing on Tuesday, January 17. Polytechnic will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 66-27 league loss to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-7.
