The Port Neches-Groves Indians basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Sterling Rangers to 48 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goose Creek Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Port Neches-Groves will battle a Patriots team coming off a 49-10 league win over Lee (Baytown, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 5-12.

The Rangers (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region III District 17 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Nederland was defeated by Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 73-24, in a league contest.
