Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX), 63-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Quanah upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Wellington (Wellington, TX) to clash with the Skyrockets in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Skyrockets go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Wellington won 61-18 in their recent league bout against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX)

Next up, the Irish clash with the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Shamrock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 81-20 league win over Memphis (Memphis, TX).
