The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), 66-36 in Friday's league test.
The Green Hornets (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Maggie Walker was trounced by Hermitage (Richmond, VA), 53-27, in a league test.
The Gladiators now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Waynesboro for a Shenandoah test on Tuesday, January 17.
