In Friday's league outing, the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC), by a margin of 59-13.

The Patriots (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Williams (Burlington, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Williams smashed Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 62-36, in a league outing.

The Pirates now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host South Granville for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19.
