The Rock Valley Rockets basketball team (Rock Valley, IA), was nudged 52-51 in Friday's league battle with the visiting West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA)
The Wildcats now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamlin for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. West Lyon will battle a Chargers team coming off a 71-20 non-league win over Webster (Webster, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 7-0.
The Rockets (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Warriors come into the Siouxland battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Sioux Center edged George-Little Rock (George, IA), 63-44, in a league battle.
