Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI) and the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), saw Romulus's basketball squad wallop Thurston by a count of 45-12.

With the victory, Romulus upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chandler Park Academy (Harper Woods, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Chandler Park Academy won 50-25 in their recent league challenge against Voyageur Academy (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Glenn Rockets (Westland, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Thurston will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
