The Sandwich Indians basketball squad (Sandwich, IL), was crushed 39-8 in Friday's league bout with the host Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL)
With the win, Sycamore upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Spartans host Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Joliet West won 54-53 in their recent league bout against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) in a Interstate 8 bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Sandwich will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record.
