South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA), 39-24 in a league bout.

With the win, South Gate upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Rams travel to Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Rough Riders in a Eastern bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Roosevelt lost 58-22 in their recent non-league bout against Calabasas (Calabasas, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) in a Eastern bout, on Wednesday, January 18. South East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 41-30 league win over Bell (Bell, CA).
