In Friday's non-league outing, the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), by a margin of 54-44.
The Trojans (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals go into the AAAA Section 6 outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Hopkins thwarted Roseville (Roseville, MN), 74-53, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eden Prairie for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20.
