The Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) basketball felled the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), 35-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chargers (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record.
The Raiders now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dinwiddie for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Amelia County will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 29-16 non-league loss to Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Generals record now stands at 3-3.
