Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA), 40-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Buckingham upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Dukes clash with the Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Cumberland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
