In Friday's non-league outing, the Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA), by a margin of 21-17.
The Cyclones (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Chancellor was tipped by James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA), 51-44, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19. Courtland will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 23-16 non-league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
