The Waynesboro Little Giants basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Fort Defiance Indians to 24 in the Little Giants non-league triumph on Friday.
The Little Giants now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Waynesboro will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 53-37 non-league loss to Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-5.
The Indians (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Staunton ran past Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA), 35-12, in a non-league contest.
