In Friday's non-league outing, the J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), by a margin of 19-15.
The Black Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record.
The Titans now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16.
