Vestavia Hills Rebels (Vestavia Hills, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), 47-8 in a league bout.
With the win, Vestavia Hills upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Hartselle lost 58-56 in their recent non-league bout against Fairview (Cullman, AL)
Next up, the Warriors play the Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.
