In Friday's league battle, the host Esperanza Aztecs soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the El Modena Vanguards.
The Aztecs (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Wildcats come into the North Hills battle with a 6-5 record.
The Vanguards (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights come into the Crestview battle with a 3-9 record.
