Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) and the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), saw Robinson's basketball squad wallop Albemarle by a count of 69-30.

With the victory, Robinson upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host North Stanly (New London, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. North Stanly lost 70-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record.
