San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA), 51-39 in a league bout.

With the win, San Mateo upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bearcats host Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA) to play the FIGHTING KNIGHTS in a bout on Wednesday, January 18. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Hillsdale won 60-42 in their recent league bout against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)

Next up, the Dons play the Westmoor Rams (Daly City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Aragon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 51-33 league loss to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA).
