Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC), 40-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Northeast Guilford upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Rams host Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Ben L. Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Camels go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 57-45 league win over Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC).
