The Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 59-28 in Friday's non-league test.

The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record.

The Cougars now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host South Rowan for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Carson will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 31-28 non-league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-9.
