The Central Academy Cougars basketball team (Monroe, NC), was overwhelmed 66-22 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC)

The Colts now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. West Stanly will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 48-30 non-league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks record now stands at 8-3.
