Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) and the host College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA), saw Miramonte's basketball squad knock off College Park by a tally of 44-29.

With the victory, Miramonte improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA) to play the Dons in a challenge on Friday, January 20. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Falcons play the De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. College Park will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 62-43 league loss to Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA).
