In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Lancaster Red Devils basketball team scored a decisive 63-16 triumph over the Colonial Beach Drifters.
In their next game, the Red Devils meet the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 17. Lancaster will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 40-23 non-league loss to Essex (Tappahannock, VA).
With the defeat, Colonial Beach moves to 0-4 on the year. The Drifters host Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
