Ridge Community Bolts (Davenport, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Davenport Broncos (Davenport, FL), 62-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ridge Community upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bolts travel to Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Broncos play the Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Davenport will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 52-7 league win over Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (Davenport, FL).
