Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA), 71-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rio Americano upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 16-4. Granite Bay lost 67-54 in their recent league bout against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) in a bout, on Monday, January 16. Del Campo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 49-45 league win over Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA).
