North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke fells West Lincoln

January 13, 2023: Connelly Springs, NC 28612

East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), 51-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Burke upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-3. West Caldwell lost 69-61 in their recent non-league bout against Bandys (Catawba, NC)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. West Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 36-33 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
