The Modoc Braves basketball team (Alturas, CA), was nudged 42-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Etna Lions (Etna, CA)
The Lions now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fall River for a battle on Tuesday, January 17. Etna will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-37 league loss to Weed (Weed, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-9.
The Braves (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Bears come into the battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Mt. Shasta edged Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 67-43, in a league battle.
