The William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 62-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Terriers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Northside walloped Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 47-42, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Lord Botetourt for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Franklin County will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 43-32 non-league loss to Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-6.
