Virginia High School Basketball - Greensville County nudges Franklin

January 13, 2023: Franklin, VA 23851

Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greensville County upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles host Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
