The Hertford County Bears tipped the visiting Manteo Redskins basketball team by a final score of 71-64 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bears face the Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 14. Hertford County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 54-47 league loss to Washington County (Plymouth, NC).
The Redskins (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Holmes edged Camden County (Camden, NC), 56-23, in a non-league battle.
