Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Laguna Beach Breakers (Laguna Beach, CA), 40-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Newport Harbor upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Sailors travel to Edison (Huntington Beach, CA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Breakers play the Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Laguna Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Oilers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 48-36 league loss to Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA).
