Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 39-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Trojans host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Knights play the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 59-28 non-league win over Carson (China Grove, NC).
